The low-cost solution for work at heights and maintenance applications

Thanks to AccessMaster® vertical sliding elevators, this elevator can afford to reach a whole new level in value and performance.

The AM series features five different models with platform heights ranging from 6 m (20 ft) to 12.50 m (41 ft). In addition, a 5.8 m (19 ft) model is available which does not require outriggers even when reaching its maximum height. It can be used for industrial and maintenance purposes or even institutional and recreational applications. Its platform has a capacity of 159 kg (350 lb), an optimal working space.

Thanks to its anodized aluminum mast, greater stability and a lower degree of deflection and roll are achieved. The system is mast-guided and therefore does not require lubrication during the entire service life of the machine.

Ease of operation and maneuverability

Mobile vertical elevators JLG® allow you to keep working longer, whether the job is in factories, retail centers, airports or public buildings. Thanks to a reliable direct electric drive system, it delivers power while maintenance-free, long-cycle batteries conserve charge. It incorporates an automatic charger, which has a recharge capacity of five hours. Three platform options with quick-change, one-minute mounting brackets allow for efficient maintenance. In addition, it features the industry's most rigid anodized aluminum mast.

The use of this lift leads to increased ease of operation and maneuverability. You can immediately go to the task at hand with the single Point & Go® joystick control. It can be propelled and steered, as well as raised and lowered at variable up and down speeds. They handle everything from electrical work and hoisting signs to general maintenance services. A large turning radius of zero allows you to maneuver your way into tight areas

Accessibility and versatility

Thanks to the Toucan® vertical mast elevator from JLGthe challenge of working at heights can be met. This makes it possible to work on, over or around assembly lines, shelves, pipes or partitions with greater ease and without interference. Positioning possibilities are increased thanks to a 360-degree rotating mast, up to a lift height of 10 m (33 ft) and over 4.27 m (14 ft) of boom reach. It features a 500 lb (227 kg) capacity and a long-running electric drive.

Built to take on the challenges of a plant

The Toucan series can be relied on to keep your production moving: plant maintenance, retooling and changeovers, storage, inspection and refurbishment.

Customization according to the needs of the job

Fully customizable, you can choose from the standard 66 cm by 71 cm (26 x 28 in.) gull-wing access platform or an optional narrow 56 cm by 56 cm (22 x 22 in.) platform in case you need to work between ceiling panels. For added platform space on AMI and MVL models, the 66 cm (26 x 48 in.) extension platform can be exchanged for a 122 cm (26 x 48 in.) platform, gaining 53 cm (21 in.) of work space.

Should you need to work over a seat, machinery or even the stairwell, a carrier fork extension kit with side entry is available, which has a 66 by 66 cm (26 x 26 in.) platform, allowing for easier access and egress.

Security lockout

A four-digit programmable lock can be added to provide additional security when the elevator is unattended

Tube carrier

Use the tube carrier to move the tubes vertically off the platform floor so that there is no risk of breaking fragile fluorescent tubes. This way it is not possible for them to roll or roll under your feet.

Carrier fork extension kit

Available for AM models from 6.10 m to 12.50 m (20 ft. to 41 ft.), the carrier fork extension kit comes in four parts that can be easily assembled.

Tool tray

You don't have to bend over and over to pick up tools from the floor, but you can add the addition of the factory aluminum tray. This is installed inside the top rail, with which you can store a variety of tools.
