The Hyster internal combustion forklift truck is available in Fortens, Fortens Advance and Fortens Advance+ configurations with diesel or LPG engines.

The heavy-duty industrial-duty engine has a cast iron engine block and no HT cables, distributor caps or rotors. High-speed glow plugs allow the engine to start quickly and reliably in low temperature conditions. In addition, the cold-start device provides cleaner exhaust by adjusting fuel injection timing according to water temperature. Emissions have also been reduced by controlling fuel injection distribution according to engine load.
